Howard University is one of the historically black colleges in the nation. The school has a rich history, which dates back over a century. Students at Howard University who would like to sell or promote a product can sell anything on the BSU website. The faculty participates in the E-commerce industry and welcomes all types of sellers who want to market products on the internet. The Black Graduate Association has an official e-commerce store and website through which black students can earn credits and cash rewards.




Howard University has also joined forces with a number of other historically black colleges and universities to make an e-commerce website that offers students and graduates the ability to purchase apparels and other merchandise through the world wide web. The target is to assist those students and graduates that reside beyond the faculty in different cities buy apparels and clothing from the internet website. Support Black Colleges has been dubbed"eCommerce." The first set of associations to associate with the program include Howard University, Morehouse School of Medicine, Spelman College and the Interdenominational Theological Center.




This partnership between Howard University, Morehouse and Interdenominational Theological Center marks a significant step ahead for the college in its push toward becoming an internet campus-based university. Interdenominational Theological Center has been a leader in developing and supporting faith-based education throughout the country. In addition to supplying for-profit pupil groups with the tools they will need to conduct meaningful religious studies, the center was instrumental in helping to develop and establish various for-profit pupil apparel programs. These garments have helped in helping in the development of internship programs, specialist wear, church support and youth ministry programs which further the utilization of these faith-based instructional institutions.




The university is presently working on a number of steps that will allow the members of its own Bailey Avenue community to buy apparels and other things out of its e-commerce site. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The new partnership between Howard University and other historically black colleges and universities is expected to increase earnings and popularity of their apparel and accessory element of the university's web site. The higher revenue will allow the school to raise tuition, scholarships and support for its many programs and activities.
